Remember to send us your zoo map with an explanation of what creatures are found where, plus some information about them, their features, habitats, behaviours and food.

Quest #9 Floating Island

Floating Island
Build a floating island.
A Google image search will inspire you with many different designs.

In The Avatar they had floating islands called the Hallelujah Mountains, and the animation Castle in the Sky has a huge castle on a floating island.

What makes these floating islands able to ignore gravity?
Try this defying gravity experiment at home.

Please send us a screenshot of your floating island, or photos of your science experiment.
Leave a comment telling us about your experiment.

Here are some of mine on my MindcraftKids server.

Quest #7 Castles

Castle (from the Latin word: castellum)

Last week we designed playgrounds, which got me thinking about bouncy castles . . . my point being everyone loves castles, yet there are so many types to build.

Research castles: Easiest - Easy - Medium - Hard (reading levels)

Castles have some common features designed for different purposes, which will you use and why?

What is are some synonyms for castle?
Send a screenshot of your castle to mindcraftkids@gmail.com telling us about your design.
